There is really no excuse for having a bad attitude. But sometimes, when it comes to dealing with problems that beset us every day, it makes for a very convenient reason to not act nicely.
Perhaps for some people, it easy enough to forgive someone who shows bad attitude on the road, and why not, it’s good for all of us. For some people, however, such ease in forgiving may not be possible at all. It takes all their will to just consider forgiving. But, indeed, if we want to continue on our journey, whether we are speaking metaphorically of life itself or of an actual bicycle ride, bad attitudes do restrain us and prevent us from moving forward. And unless we change for the better, we can't go neither forward nor backward. We'd be stuck whereever we had the flat tire.
And speaking of not acting nicely, please read our post Three Things You Should Never Say to a Driver while on Your Bike to help you avoid needless confrontation with drivers. If you are a bicyclist who what to be aware of what's happening around you even when you're not on your bicycle, head to our post about Problems All Cyclists Understand.
